As part of our RE topic this half term, we have been looking at symbolism within the Christian nativity story. This week, we llearned all about Christingles and what each part of the Christingle symbolises. The children then made a Christingle each before we lit them together.. As the candle represents Jesus' light and hope in times of darkness, we thought about something we hoped for, either for ourselves our someone we know while sitting in the calm candlelight together. What a lovely afternoon Year 4! You were all so sensible, well done!
